School Tours
The Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre offers a one and a half hour educational walking tour for learners who visit the Centre. This provides the opportunity for learners to see Cheetahs and African Wild Dogs up close, they are also afforded the opportunity of seeing and learning about vultures, Brown Hyena, Caracal and African Wild Cat. Tours are conducted by a trained guide and are very inter-active.
There is a small tuck / Curio shop on site.
Cost is R30 per pupil (includes up to 3 teachers free).

The Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre Outreach Education Programme
Mission To create environmental awareness and community development through education and the sense of touch
School presentations – consist of a lecture on the environment, using the cheetah as a basis, assisted by a slide or power point presentation, and the opportunity to meet an ambassador cheetah. Schools are given a resource package, consisting of a curriculum based resource book – Gr 4 – 6 – and six educational posters (This book can be adapted to most grades) Visits can be arranged for classes from Grade 0 to Grade 12.
